Mining equipment e.g. copper stripping machines, ore bucket diggers etc. operate under rough environmental conditions leading to high ISO cleanliness level of the oil. Typical ISO level in the hydraulic oil and the gearbox oil is 22/21/17 without CJC™ Oil Filters, but recommended ISO codes are 14/11, if the equipment is to work reliably and effectively.
The hydraulic oil and the gearbox oil systems are typically 150-600L, and the rough environmental conditions cause water ingress, particle contamination from dust, and sludge from oil degradation. The contamination leads to abrasion on parts and components and consequent frequent service and replacement of components. Most importantly, the effect of contaminated oil is down-time and lost production.
Effective Offline Oil Filtration using e.g. CJC™ Fine Filters, CJC™ Filter Separators and CJC™ Desorbers dramatically increases the reliability and lifetime of the mining equipment, the hydraulic systems and the gearboxes.
Due to the depth filtration and the capability of removing the high amount of dirt from the oil, it is possible to considerably reduce oil changes and maintenance costs and achieve an extremely fast pay-back time.
