C.C.JENSEN growth agenda

15% growth and 20 new employees in 2014

2 june 2014, the Danish National Broadcasting Corporation had focus on export growth, and C.C.JENSEN’s CEO, Mr. Stig Due, was interviewed about the current state of the company.

Until now, 2014 is showing positive prospects for C.C.JENSEN. Turnover has grown by 10% compared to last year and the export share is 85%. During the last 3 years, annual growth rates have been steady at 10%, so the financial crisis is no longer a topic at C.C.JENSEN.

This leads to employment of new staff, and in 2014 to date, C.C.JENSEN has employed 20 new staff. Stig Due comments that it is generally easy for C.C.JENSEN to attract new employees since the company has a good reputation as employer. Skilled and unskilled blue collar employees are generally easy to attract, and similarly sales and engineering staff find C.C.JENSEN attractive. A few specialist positions have taken longer to fill, but generally this is not a problem.

As for the future, the new strategy plan with a horizon of 2016 has upped the ambitions to an annual growth of 15%, which is high compared to other countries and markets, and this gives room for further new employees in Svendborg and around the world.
