container vessels – engine 2-stroke lube

Container vessels are normally running on HFO, and the 2-stroke engine is used for propulsion. Crankshaft bearing, main bearings, LO pumps and hydraulics on ME and RT Flex engines all have lubrication systems that keep them running smoothly. Because of ever-smaller tolerances and higher pressures, the lubrication oil must be kept free from particles, oxidation residues and water for the engine to run smoothly.

Challenge
The lubrication oil will contain certain contamination, and must be kept below OEM recommendations. If contaminants are not removed, the wear on components will be higher, and the engine will not function perfectly. Eventually, this can lead to reduced efficiency and higher maintenance costs.

Benefits, installing CJC® Oil Filters

  • Protect your investment
  • Reduce power consumption and improve lube oil cleanliness
  • Reduce risk of engine repairs
  • Reduce risk of unplanned breakdowns and off-hire
  • Reduced maintenance costs

When you install a CJC® Oil Filter solution on your engine lube system, you can replace the purifier and minimise oil and energy cost. The CJC® Oil Filters do not require heating, do not produce sludge you will decrease operational cost, and there will be no risk of water ingress, which you will have when using conventional purifiers.

You get an oil filter with excellent dirt and oxidation removal capacities, and the highest dirt holding capacity, giving cost savings and better reliability of the engine. Technically, CJC® is known for keeping oil clean, dry and without oxidation residues.

When you choose CJC® Oil Filters, you ensure a long lifetime of the engine, reduce maintenance and you avoid unplanned breakdowns.
